Flowering Shrubs

Smaller than a tree and more structure than a perennial. Flowering shrubs are a great choice where space may be limited but the desire for colour is not. They come in a variety of leaf colour and blooms times. Classics include hydrangeas, Weigela, Lilacs, Forsythia, Winterberry, Holly, Viburnums. Flowering shrubs may be available in standard forms as well to give you the benefit of height on a single stem as well as the beauty of flowering. Many of the flowering shrubs have fantastic fall colour or winter interest.
